Finley’s Touch was created to spread Fun, Happiness, and Hope to children and families going through tough times in hospital.
The bags we provide are filled with the very things that helped us through long admissions—thoughtfully chosen to bring comfort and a little light during the darkest days.
Honking Rubber Chickens
Late at night, the nurses would tiptoe into Finn’s room, thinking he was fast asleep... HONK!
No matter your age, that unexpected HONK! never fails to bring a smile.
Books
Each gift bag includes one of Finley’s favourite books — the first in the hilarious Treehouse series! There are 11 books in total, and they get wackier with every adventure!
Transplant 2 was in need of some fresh reads — and what a journey we had!
We all had a blast diving into the heroic adventures of Hiccup, Toothless, Snotlout, and the gang. Every chapter was packed with excitement, laughs
Football
This lightweight ball is perfect for safe fun — whether you're in your room or cruising the hospital corridors!
Pop it in a bag and voilà — you've got yourself a mini punchbag for some stress-busting action too!
Tool Box
Finley was always plotting his great escape during hospital stays — now it’s your turn!
Keep your escape tools safe in this handy box… or use it to store your felt tip pens (which are included!). Whether you're planning a getaway or just getting creative, this box has you covered.
Can he lick it? Yes he can — with these Ice Lolly Moulds!
Sometimes Finn was nil-by-mouth, but ice lollies were still allowed. We froze his favourite drinks — they tasted great, were (sometimes) healthy, and really helped soothe the pain from mouth ulcers caused by treatment.
Not entirely sure this blue one qualified as healthy… but it was definitely a favourite!
Get the spot with a backstratcher!
Ever had an itch you just couldn’t reach? Now imagine feeling itchy all the time.
A Stem Cell Transplant can cause GVHD (Graft Versus Host Disease), which leads to constant skin irritation. This handy scratcher is here to help — perfect for reaching those impossible-to-reach spots and bringing a bit of relief when you need it most.
Why not challenge one of the nurses to a game of Top Trumps?
Finley absolutely loved this game — so much so, he’d sometimes deliberately lose just to keep the fun going a little longer!
Whether you're in for a quick match or a marathon session, Top Trumps is the perfect way to spark some friendly competition and laughter.
Coffee?
We’re endlessly grateful to the NHS for everything they’ve done for us — but if we had one tiny gripe, it’s the coffee!
That’s why we’ve included some proper filter coffee in each bag, just for the grownups. It’s a little boost to help parents through those long, exhausting admissions.
You’ll also find a few extra treats in the bag — bits to brighten the room and make it feel comfy, cool, a
