What began with support for children in selected wards at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and The Royal Alexandra in Brighton has grown into something truly special. Today, we’re proud to reach paediatric oncology units across Surrey, Sussex, Kent, and Hampshire.
Having a seriously ill child in hospital is incredibly tough—on the body, the mind and the budget. Our mission is simple but powerful:

We do this by:
- Providing Hospital Survival Bags filled with practical and comforting items for long stays.
- Offering annual financial grants to families throughout their child’s treatment.
- Issuing National Trust family memberships to encourage outdoor time, wellbeing, and precious moments together.
As we grow, so does our ambition. We’re not yet able to support every family across the UK—but with your help, we believe there’s no limit to how far Finley’s Touch can reach.

When your child is diagnosed with cancer, life changes overnight—and so do your finances. There’s no formal financial support for families in this situation, and keeping a job while spending months in hospital is incredibly tough.

When your child has cancer, fun can be hard to find—especially when crowded places like cinemas or leisure centres aren’t safe. That’s why, in 2024, we began offering National Trust Family Memberships. They’re a brilliant way for families to enjoy the outdoors, learn, explore, and recharge—together.

Packed with fun, creative activities and a few surprises, our bags bring instant smiles the moment they’re opened. Spoiler alert—nothing lifts spirits quite like a honking rubber chicken!
