No-one in this family is ever alone

What began with support for children in selected wards at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and The Royal Alexandra in Brighton has grown into something truly special. Today, we’re proud to reach paediatric oncology units across Sussex, Surrey, Kent, and Hampshire.

Having a seriously ill child in hospital is incredibly tough—on the body, the mind and the budget. Our mission is simple but powerful:

We do this by:

1. Offering annual financial grants of £500 to families throughout their child’s treatment. When your child is diagnosed with cancer, life changes overnight—and so do your finances. There’s no formal financial support for families in this situation, and keeping a job while spending months in hospital is incredibly tough.
2. Issuing National Trust family memberships to encourage outdoor time, wellbeing, and precious moments together.
3. Providing Hospital Survival Bags filled with practical and comforting items for long admissions. 

As we grow, so does our ambition. We’re not yet able to support every family across the UK—but with your help, we believe there’s no limit to how far Finley’s Touch can reach.
